Leave it to a non-Georgia native to be curious about the intricacies of her neighborhood. In an effort to gain a better understanding and appreciation of my new home state, sit back and enjoy as I share with you my findings on the history and finer details of life in Georgia.
Me? I grew up in NJ and moved to Atlanta in 1998, the metropolis of the South, hence our name - Empire State South. Now, I know that no New Yorker would be excited to hear this, but for me, it's a good fit. And besides, NY should take it as a compliment.
